My New Favorite Beauty Products

The holidays have put blogging into a total funk.  From working full time and travel out of town for the holidays, blogging has fallen by the wayside.  But here's to hoping I can pick back up and get back into the swing of things.

As I was getting ready this  morning I thought about my new recent beauty purchases and gifts and I've decided to share them with y'all!  Everything from my new drug store favorites to my most recent splurge.

Trish McEvoy Blender Brush:  This is a GREAT starter brush if you're looking to start or expand your brush collection.  I have used the smaller one for years and found that it wasn't blending as well as I needed it too(especially under my eyes).  This brush has now taken over and become my most used and favorite.

Batiste:  I can't live without dry shampoo, it's my favorite hair product!  Since I don't wash my hair everyday it's essential, and used often, so I needed to find a cheaper alternative to Oribe's Dry Texturizing Spray.  At $8 this does the job.  It does leave a bit of a powdery color on darker hair, but I brush my hair immediately afterwards and find that it goes away.

Vaseline Rosy Lips My mom put this in my stocking and I am officially hooked.  It reminds me of Rosebud's lip salve, another favorite of mine, but it's more compact and not as messy.  It moisturizes and adds a rosy glow, plus it smells divine!

bareMinerals BareSkin:  Wow!  It's my new favorite product, period!  I've been wanting to try it for forever, but they've always been sold out of my color(I wear bare Porcelain) at Ulta, until recently.  I am in love, a little goes a long way with this product.  It provides great coverage, stays on all day, and is not too heavy.

Kevyn Aucoin Mascara:  This mascara reminds me a lot of Trish McEvoy's.  It is a natural, build-able mascara that comes off in tubes with warm water.  I love how it washes off, I find it to be better for my lashes.

Trish McEvoy Eye Serum:  Ok, let's talk about my splurge.  I have avoided purchasing an eye serum for months now, but I couldn't stand it any longer.  I was having dark circles, dry under eyes(even though I use eye cream day and night) and my makeup would crease under my eyes.  This Eye Serum has fixed all my issues, you use a TINY drop on both eyes morning and nights, I swear I have noticed a difference in just 2 weeks!
