Happy New Year!!! Wow, 2015, I can't believe another year is already here! 2014 was amazing, marrying my best friend is going to be tough to top, but I am sure there are amazing things in store for us in 2015! So I never make resolutions, because inevitably I will break one, two or all, but I thought I'll make a list of "goals" just to make myself more aware.
2015 List of Goals
Drink more tea, green in particular, it always makes my skin glow.
Curse less often, sometimes I have a sailor's mouth.
Do more outdoor activities with R. We both love hiking, skiing, wake boarding, running(even though I am a horrible runner) etc., but we rarely do anything like that together.
Speaking of running I need to perfect my form, I sound like Big Foot when I run, no exaggeration.
Eat more vegetables, I love roasted veggies, and I never make them.
Start meditating, or at least a moment of silence each day, I'm a chatter box(surprise) and need to allow myself time to listen to my body.
Read more books, I don't know why, but I NEVER sit down to read a book.
Drink less wine, and more water/tea. Although we are going to Napa in a few weeks and I am sure we will have quite the stock pile after our trip.
Develop more of a refined palate, haha! Seriously, I want to be able to distinguish between all the flavors you read on the back of wine bottles.
Read the Bible more.
Think less about myself and more about others.
Say "hello" and "smile" more at random strangers.
Workout at 6am 3 to 4 times a week.
Call my grandparents weekly.
Call my friends in general, truth be told I hate talking on the phone.
Go to the mountains, I miss them, and feel so much better when I am there.
Make myself move out of my comfort zone more often, I only find that my comfort zone holds me back.
