I write this with a box of Kleenex right beside me, life has finally caught up with me. From traveling over the holidays and then flying to NYC last week for work, I have finally succumbed to a nasty head cold. It takes a lot to knock me down and make me not go into work, and this cold has succeeded.
I thought I would share with you some of my most recent Netflix binges, as I have sat on the couch for the majority of the day, with Booney and Netflix, my two best friends when I'm sick.
Scatter my Ashes at Bergdorf's. If you have any love for fashion or Bergdorf's(my favorite store in the world) you MUST watch this documentary. It makes me smile. Seeing the operations behind Bergdorf's windows, retail floor, buying offices, etc. is nothing short of amazing.
Marco Polo. So I like history, I always have, it fascinates me. Therefore, I found Marco Polo to be interesting. The scenery is incredible, I believe this is the most expensive made for TV series ever produced(more than Game of Thrones). I enjoyed this series, R didn't as much, but it kept me entertained.
The Honorable Woman. From the first two minutes of this show I was hooked. It's an 8 part mini series produced by BBC. It's a political spy thriller, which is right my alley. Maggie Gyllenhaal does an incredible job in this series. It's comparable to Homeland.
Burt's Buzz. So I watched this, this morning. I was in the mood for something a bit "mindless." You know, I didn't want to have to think too hard(my head is so full of cold I barely have room for my brain). It's an interesting documentary, Burt is quite a character, and the story behind the company is neat. A good rainy day movie.
I also started the podcast Serial, how nuts is this podcast! I haven't gotten too far, so don't ruin anything for me, I am just where they introduced the man who found the body(seems a little sketchy to me). It's a great podcast, and you should start it if you haven't already.
Also, let me know of some of your favorite Netflix shows/mini series. R and I are looking to start a new one.
