New York, New York

Hey!  So if you know me or follow me in Insta, you see I travel to NY a lot.  I recently went up for a buying trip, buying holiday and resort deliveries, crazy right?!  I thought I would take a few pics to document my time in the city, so you can see what I do when I'm in NYC.

I was fortunate enough to stay at the Omni Berkshire this trip, it's in one of my favorite locations, in between 5th and Madison, and a straight shot to my bff in the upper east side!  Omni's always have the most gorgeous flowers!

I had Sunday to play, so I took advantage of Zara and Uniqlo, two of my favorite stores I don't have access to in Charleston.  After playing for a few hours in those stores I headed up to see Elle and Bix, Elle and I, two makeup lovers headed to Sephora.  Never get two makeup junkies in Sephora together, because this happens...

After our Sephora splurge we were both in desperate need of a drink or three, so we tried a new tapas place together, Pil Pil.  It's located on the upper east side and so yummy!  Hidden gem for sure.  Sangria in mason jars, yes please!

Monday rolled around bright and early and I headed to the Javit's to knock out my buying trip.  This was a holiday buy, so all October and November deliveries for the most part.  When I'm in NYC I am usually always wearing black.  Here's my look for day 1.

Jacket: Super Old  Top:  past season Hache(similar here); Jeans:  Blank NYC(similar here)  Shoes:  Joie

After working all day Monday I ubered down to the Rapha store to surprise R with a gift!  R just got into cycling and has fallen in love with the Rapha brand, they only have two stores in the US, San Fran and NYC!  Check out how sweet their store is in the Meatpacking district.

I didn't attempt to take an awkward mirror selfie on Tuesday, but I did take another awkward selfie in the cab, ha!  I wore the H&M jacket I blogged about last week.  I can't tell you how much I love this jacket, and it's a great weight for 60 degree spring/summer weather.  BTW I always listen to music in the cabs, I like zoning out when I'm in cabs.

I went to one of my favorite quick breakfast/lunch spots near my hotel, Le Pain Quotidien and tried their avocado toast, so good!  It had a little too much cumin on it for me, but I scraped some off and than it was perfect!  Their freshly squeezed OJ is so amazing, it makes me want to squeeze my own on a daily.

The weather was perfect and the traffic wasn't bad.  I got to JFK in record time on Tuesday, 45 min!  I snapped this picture as I was heading out of the city on the Queensborough bridge, beautiful!
