I'm scared to type this, or even think this, but I feel like we're finally getting into a good groove with Graham. Gah, I hope I don't jinx myself by even speaking such. He is napping consistently now, 2x a day for 1.5-2 hrs each, and goes down easily at night between 7 and 7:30. He wakes up to eat once at night, around 4/4:30am, and then is back down and wakes for the day between 7:30 and 8. I'm hopeful that last feeding will be dropped around 6 months, but for now I'm not complaining.
We live in a beautiful area of IL, we're directly north of Chicago, but on Lake Michigan, so we're only about 15 miles from downtown Chicago. R takes the train in to work. We live two blocks from the train station, which is part of the reason we purchased this house, so he could still walk to the train and make his commute as short as possible.
I take the boys(G and Boone) on a walk everyday, typically I try and time it so we can meet Rob at the train station in the evenings. I walk around and drool over the gorgeous houses on the "other side of the train tracks."
If we're going on a longer walk we'll walk down to the lake, it's exactly a mile. We have an overlook area, where I'll stop and soak it in with a sip of wine or beer(whichever is in my to go cup) ;)
G loves being outside, most babies probably do(so I've heard). I love getting out just as much as he does. When 5 o'clock rolls around I'm itching to get out and stretch my legs. I'm thinking about asking for a running stroller for Christmas so we can get out in all kinds of weather this winter.
We've been in the house since the end of June, but are just really settling into everything. Moving with a 2 month old slightly delays projects. We have begun landscaping this week, and I can't wait to show you!!!!
